CLASS D PROGRAM

What you’ll learn:

Gain the expertise to drive straight trucks and heavy vehicles with S&A Sprint Driving School Inc. and our MTO-approved training. This program prepares you for a rewarding career in transport or construction by meeting all Ontario requirements.

A Class D licence allows you to drive a motor vehicle exceeding 11,000 kilograms gross weight or registered gross weight or any truck or combination provided the towed vehicle is not over 4,600 kilograms.

• Defensive driving for city and highway
• Backing, turning and parking with straight trucks
• Pre-trip inspections and safety checks
• On-road, yard and in-cab training
• Airbrake (Z-Endorsement) course included if required

What you need:

Must be at least 18 years old
Hold a current Ontario G license
Secondary school diploma or GED
Meet MTO medical and vision standards
A clean driver abstract is preferred
